T-Annex Experimental

 

T-Annex Experimental is of not personel except me. I've done this because I want to do experimental solo games here. Other than that I'm from the British Isles, I went to Confetti College in Nottingham and I like using video game engines experimentally with prototypes and for legit games. Open-shock is the high priority experimental game of this studio but I will be doing a sandbox magic game and maybe a local multiplayer game after this Openshock game.

Introduction Of Openshock


In introduction with Open-shock is a game that is like System-shock and so it would be a sci-fi horror RPG but I made an easy level editor for it which is done through voxels unlike the complex level editors of 90s games like Thief or
System Shock. Plus, like System Shock, this game will have likewise UI and will have loads of enemies in it with similar contexts like cyborgs and robots, the weapons are alike too with a psi gun that I have that will be for psionic projectiles like the psi-amp of System Shock 2. Open-shock is a Blender Game Engine game and this is because this engine is one I used in high-school and I want to make something with it so I can honour it as my first proper engine.

In addition, the player modes of Open-Shock are the campaign player modes and modded player modes. The campaign is a level pack that I did which is irreplaceable in the game files and also has got canon lore. After that, the modded player modes are level packs from  the level editor and the text logs of these level packs will contrast to the campaign via custom text logs so you can have lore with the level pack mods that is player made. 

Next is the level editor which is where a 3D cursor is used for voxels that can have the floors and walls of the level and also have enemy spawns and other blocks that have mechanics like security systems with the cameras and fabricating with the fabricators. 

 

Campaign Story

After that, Open-shock has a campaign where a guy called Logan Garcia, whom is a security guard on a civilian/military/science hybrid super-size spaceship, has to destroy an AI that is from an alien data bug. Logan Garcia's employer was kidnapped by security robots on the civilian deck, Logan couldn't do squat because of the plasma slug he got the chest when he
when that event happened. Logan however was mortal and the employer's bedroom is the game start. In addition to that you will go to the hospital deck to see if the employer is in the
hospital deck, then to the machinery deck which is next door to the core deck and then to the core deck to destroy the AI.
